A lot of fashion websites are nowadays concerned with “the hottest trends” for summer 2009 so I felt a little obliged to write something about it. To be honest, I have never been a “fashion-conscious” person and I didn’t care much for something like fashion trends but when I started to write about fashion and got some knowledge about this topic, I began to fell interested:-)
I found out that clothes, accesories and make-up can really help people to feel beautiful, confident and satisfied with themselves. So I don’t find anything wrong about creating new trends every season and huge malls with their advertisements that tell us: “You must certainly buy that or you won’t survive this summer”:-) But it would be really boring if everyone wear the same clothes – imagine the same summer trends worn by people around the world … all the diversity would be swept away. I’m keen on original fashion, so if the trends are fresh, new and can move the fashion world forward, why not buy something trendy?
So finally there is a hint of fashion trends for summer 2009, if you need some inspiration:-)
Colours
This summer would be fresh, colourful, natural and also a bit innocent and ethnic. But also do not throw away your skirt form the 80’s or a western hat – it would be still in to wear that. If you want to be trendy, buy something in light, natural colours – for example turquoise, pink, yellow, coral, olive green and other pastel shades. But choose carefully and do not wear colours that don’t match with your skintone.
Material
As for the material, it should be light and eco-friendly, for instance you could try silk, chiffon, cotton, light blue denim or lace. Don’t be afraid to wear floral pattern and everything that seeems to come from nature:-) and also, ethnic patterns and accessories will be trendy for some time.
And seven tips if you really don’t want underestimate anything;-)
1) Layer up everything you can (but make sure the colours go together)
2) High heels will be trendy probably forever:-)
3) Nice, elegant ballerinas are also ideal for this summer
