The craziest shoes in the world

I’ve been thinking about a new topic for this blog and when I was browsing several sites about fashion trends, I bumped into a picture of really crazy shoes from Japan. I thought: “How can women wear something like this, for heaven’s sake?”

I practically never wear high heels (even though I often write that these shoes are sexy and can perfectly shape your legs … blah blah:-) But I know that when I wear them, I feel tired and my feet hurt after a while – so why should I ruin a nice evening by suffering from painful and swollen feet? A week ago I went to my boyfriend’s graduation ceremony which took place in a theatre, so I was supposed to wear something formal. I decided to “suit up”:-) and wear my beautiful red dress which I had at a ball once.

I knew that high heels would be perfect and that I’m about 30 centimetres shorter than my boyfriend so I wouldn’t look like a dwarf next to him, but my favourite ballerinas shoes won my inner battle again. I didn’t look higher and my legs weren’t as sexy as they would be if I put on high heels, but I felt relaxed and comfortable.

So there are some photos of the craziest shoes in the world – but do not try to find inspiration here, it’s really just for fun:-)

If you are not fond of stiletto heels and prefer to wear something more comfortable, you should try sneakers – and in this case the more colourful, the better:-) One of the most popular company that sells sneakers is Converse which was founded in 1908 by Marquis M. Converse.

Firstly, Converse began manufacturing shoes for tennis but the biggest success came in 1917 when Converse introduced basketball shoes named All Star. Converse sneakers are universal shoes – you can combine them with jeans or with skirts which in my opinion looks very well on girls:-) You can buy so many different kinds of these shoes and there even have been made several special editions of Converse shoes (for example Ramones, Sailor Jerry or High Tops) which are being released only in small number. So why not change your image and sometimes set out for a meeting with friends in comfortable and beautiful shoes?:-)

We should never really forget to write about Nike although fan sites and e-shops with its products are spreading round the world. As a matter of fact, why is Nike such a famous brand? The reason might intervene in their succesful history or new innovative materials and technologies; but the fact is that there always have to be hard work and patience.
